I was contacted by Chrissy Lim of PaperPlane Co. to work on a collaborative piece based on a poem she wrote called Erosion.

Art for the sake of art!

Her only directive was to create an abstract animation which would illustrate the words of her poem, and requested that the aesthetics combine soft, geometric, translucent and pastel elements.

I drew some story boards that we passed back and forth until a final version was agreed upon, and I took it from there with feedback along the way.

Once I had the animation close to completion using a metronome track, I also got to create the music for this piece which was a joy.

It was so much fun (and an honor) working on this, as well as refreshing to collaborate on an art project with someone I truly respect!.
