Dissection of a Rose is an award-winning, stylized, experimental short film which ventures into the beautifully vivid, bizarre and at times psychedelic world of a young girl trapped in the confines of her mind.
It incorporates live-action, 2D animation and stop motion effects through the lens of soft-focus 70's melodrama.
It won Best Experimental Short Film at The New York Psychedelic Film and Music Festival as well as Humbolt International Film Festival, and recieved Honorable Mention at Fargo Film Festival.
